Salty

Speaking of salt, have I mentioned that it’s cold around these parts these days? On my lunchtime walk, during which I snapped today’s photograph, I came across a man throwing salt in front of a building, and felt a rush of gratitude toward him even though I was wearing flat, warm boots. It’s a frigid -39, folks. That’s the point where Celsius and Fareheight are the same. So it’s -39ºC, and it’s -39F. Don’t ignore the minus. And don’t slip on the ice.
