Melting

Today was a gloriously warm 6 degrees above freezing. I took a walk on my lunch break and drank in the glory that is a mere sweater protecting me against the elements. The snow is still there, but for a moment, I pretended that it’s melting and will soon be nothing but a cold, cold memory.
