This flower, whatever it’s called, grew out of nowhere! Nothing! I did no planting of anything, and bought my house in winter, and the surprises don’t stop. This is in my back yard, set in relief against the artfully haphazard stone wall that is installed there. I love this flower as much as I love this wall.
My sister Natalie is now 24 years old. Her mid-twenties! What a glorious, realistic, hopeful time that is.
